Trim is what turns a flat stucco elevation into one that actually looks designed. Shaped EPS foam, fiberglass mesh and a base coat let us add window surrounds, sills, banding, quoins and full column wraps at a fraction of the cost of real masonry, finished in the same color and texture as the rest of the wall.

The detail that actually matters is the top of every profile. Any horizontal surface on a trim piece has to shed water, and every joint around it needs to stay sealed. Trim installed without that in mind becomes a little shelf that holds water right against your wall, which is the last thing you want in monsoon season.

Trim profiles we fabricate and install

Most profiles are hot-wire cut from EPS foam into the shape you pick, adhered directly to the wall, then wrapped in base coat and fiberglass mesh so the surface is hard and impact resistant before the finish coat ever goes on.

  • Window and door surrounds, sills and keystones
  • Horizontal banding and belt courses between stories
  • Quoins at building corners
  • Column and post wraps, pilasters and bases
  • Corbels, brackets and decorative medallions
  • Arches and radius work over openings, including Santa Fe and Mission-style profiles

Details that keep trim from failing over time

Sloped top surfaces so water actually runs off instead of pooling. A drip edge on the underside of any projecting profile so water breaks away instead of tracking back to the face of the wall. Sealant joints where trim meets a window frame, kept flexible and checked periodically. And mesh wrapped continuously around every corner rather than butted, because a butt joint at a corner is a crack waiting to happen the first time the wall expands and contracts under Arizona heat.
